I was initially questioning my internship last Wednesday when I was asked to essentially write an essay on Ernest Hemingway and the aspects of A Farewell To Arms that related to his life. But I quickly realized that this exercise was meant to help me decipher the differences between writing a typical literary analysis and a piece for radio. So in the past couple days I have been writing introductions for the broadcast of the audiobook of the aforementioned.
Also, in an effort to honor the birthday of acclaimed short story dramatist and playwright Anton Checkhov, I wrote a couple minute introduction for one of his short stories.
I'm surprisingly getting way into literature. Score.
